in 1879 a brilliant book chronicled some ancient typefaces ... someday I want to make them into fonts, but for now I present them here for anyone who wants to use them with a little bit more work until I get around to making them a font... this is a basic alphabet font (with lower and upper case, but missing some upper case for some historical reason) from the 15th century
